Children & Youth

Hope Presbyterian Church provides Sunday School Classes at 9:30 a.m. for children pre-school through Senior High. There is a Time for the Younger Church during the 11:00 a.m. service. Children's Church is offered for children ages four through grade one in the West Building for the remainder of the service.

Care for younger children (ages 0-3) is provided in the Nursery/Pre-School area located in the Fellowship Center. Parents are given pagers so that, if there is a problem during the service, they can be summoned. Parents are to meet their children in the West Building or the Nursery area immediately after worship.

Each summer, Hope Presbyterian Church offers children 4 years through 5th grade an opportunity to learn about God's love through a creative Vacation Bible School experience.

“The Seekers” is a church membership program open to all youth age 8th-12th grade who wish to become full members of Hope Presbyterian Church. Classes will begin Sunday mornings from December and continue for a total of 18 classes. All youth who desire to, and complete the full course, will then be received into church membership in a formal celebration in April.

Hope Presbyterian Church provides youth fellowship for Jr. High and Sr. High groups on Sunday evenings at 6:15 p.m. The Jr. High group meets in the Fellowship Hall, and the Sr. High group meets in the Senior High Room (SR) located in the West Building

Hope Children's Center  provides a Pre-school /Kindergarten program that seeks to nurture and educate children ages of 18 months to 5 years in a Christian atmosphere.

The Children and Youth Commission consists of at least four elders. Their mission is in guiding and encouraging our children and youth to know and follow Jesus Christ. They also nurture our children's minds and hearts through the scriptural-based teaching ministry of the church.
