Handbells

Handbell Choirs

• Glory Bells for intermediate and advanced level adults rehearse Thursdays, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
• Youth Handbells & Handchimes rehearse Sundays, 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. before Youth Choir rehearsals.
• Elementary Handchimes for Grades 3-5 rehearse Wednesdays, 6:00 - 6:30 p.m. before Jubilation Choir rehearsals.
• Handbell rehearse in the Sanctuary. Handchimes rehearse in Room W4 (West Building).
• Each group plays for services throughout the year. Handbells are an important part of special celebrations, including Reformation, Advent, Christmas Eve, Easter and Music Ministry Sunday.
• There are a full five octaves of handbells, with 12-14 players per bell choir, plus three octaves of handchimes.

Interested in playing handbells? Music reading ability is a plus, but not required! If you've ever played an instrument or sung in a choir, you probably have the fundamental skills needed to play handbells. It's fun and easy, so come join us!
