"Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." – Galatians 6:2
The members of Hope care about each other and reach out to those in need through ministry.
Prayer Group
The Prayer Group meets weekly to pray for the concerns of those who worship at Hope. Your request may
be made by completing a prayer request card found in the pew racks in the Sanctuary or by
emailing your request here.
Please include your name, the name and relationship of the person(s) to be lifted up
in prayer and if the need is a confidential matter you may just put the person's name.
The work of Deacons is a ministry of
sympathy, concern, and compassion to those members who have
particular needs for care and understanding. Deacons provide
watch-care for members who are sick, grieving, isolated by
age or infirmity, and any others who are in personal
distress. To fulfill this mission, each Deacon cares for a
certain number of individuals and families within Hope
Presbyterian Church. Deacon’s are assigned "flocks"
according to the initial of your last name.
Care Ministry Teams
Care ministry teams are: Members of a
team providing care focused on a particular need, such
as transportation, meal preparation, hospital or homebound
visitation, providing support for funeral receptions,
telephone contact, etc. If you are interested in more
information on how you can be the hands of Christ to someone
by being on a team please

Team members contribute to the team by:
- Doing what they love to do, when
they are able to do it, in a coordinated effort with
others;
- Care Ministry Team Leaders will
always communicate with the person’s Deacon and the
Pastors;
- Meeting to understand what the
Team’s focus is and how it works;
- Including every team member as a
part of the decision-making process;
- Ensuring good communication and
coordination in the life of the team;
- Hope members should contact
Pastor Fred to request Care Team assistance.
