Be the Hands and Feet of Christ to
someone–The number of families coming to Manos de Cristo
for food and clothing is overwhelming! You can volunteer for
once a week, twice a month, or even once a month. As long as
you are dependable, any scheme will work! Spanish not
necessary. Since clients are now showing up as early as 7:30
a.m., we would like to start serving them at 8:30; thus,
volunteers must arrive at least by 8:30 a.m. to help. Those
desiring to volunteer should call Helene Treat at

All women members of Hope are invited to
a Christmas Tea, December 7, 12:30-2:00 p.m. in the
Fellowship Hall – "If you find you have some time,
how wonderful if we could have a little chat and have a cup
of Christmas tea." And with these words from the beloved
holiday classic, A Cup of Christmas Tea, by Tom Hegg, the
Women of Hope’s December function focuses on this simple,
yet charming concept of taking the time to share a cup of
Christmas tea as a lovely start to the holiday season. Feel
free to bring your daughter, mother, or friend. You can even
bring your own favorite tea cup! New members are especially
encouraged to attend. Please plan on coming to this
delightful tea, and come ready to reminisce or make new
memories!
Chili, Caroling, and Cocoa will
take place starting at 5:30 p.m. on December 21 at Hope
Presbyterian Church. Plans include meeting at the church for
a cup of chili, divide into small groups and go caroling to
some of the members at Hope, and then return to the church
for cocoa/treats. We hope you will make this a family
affair. Bring along children of all ages.
